DiPLab (Digital Platform Labor) is an interdisciplinary research group. Its members’ backgrounds intersect several academic fields and disciplines such as sociology, economics, computer science, linguistics, law, philosophy, anthropology. DiPLab conducts publicly-funded fundamental research projects in Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
The research group convenes twice a month for its Wednesday seminar. Other events, such as seminars, workshops, and conference are organized by DiPLab members. Notably, DiPLab members co-founded and actively run the European Network on Digital Labour (ENDL) and of its international branch INDL.
The group regularly publishes articles in peer-reviewed journals. The scientific production of DiPLab members also include policy reports, media features, and documentaries to foster the public awareness of the future of work and technologies.
